SSC परीक्षाओं में Spelling Correction के प्रश्न सीधे और फैक्चुअल होते हैं। इसमें आपको चार विकल्पों में से सही (Correctly spelt) या गलत (Incorrectly spelt) शब्द को पहचानना होता है। In SSC exams, Spelling Correction questions test your ability to identify the correctly or incorrectly spelt word from the given options.

• 'i' before 'e' except after 'c': सामान्यतः 'i' पहले आता है, लेकिन 'c' के बाद 'e' पहले आता है। Rule: Use 'i' before 'e', except after 'c'. (Example: Believe, Receive).
• Double Consonants: जब किसी शब्द के अंत में एक Vowel + Consonant हो और हम suffix जोड़ें, तो अंतिम अक्षर double हो जाता है। Rule: Double the final consonant before adding a suffix starting with a vowel. (Example: Run -> Running).
• Words ending in 'y': यदि शब्द 'y' पर समाप्त होता है और उससे पहले consonant है, तो suffix जोड़ते समय 'y' को 'i' में बदल दें। Rule: Change 'y' to 'i' before adding suffixes. (Example: Beauty -> Beautiful).
• Silent Letters: कुछ शब्दों में silent letters होते हैं, जिन्हें उच्चारण में नहीं बोला जाता लेकिन स्पेलिंग में लिखा जाता है। Rule: Memorize words with silent letters. (Example: Psychology, Knowledge).
