REVIEW OF GROUNDWATER ACTION PLAN

The Ministry of Jal Shakti has reviewed its groundwater action plan, emphasizing the monitoring work of the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) and the implementation status of the Model Groundwater Bill.

It also highlighted the regulatory function of the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) and its stringent guidelines for commercial groundwater extraction.
