ENHANCEMENT OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER NATIONAL MISSION ON EDIBLE OILS – OIL PALM (NMEO-OP)

The National Mission on Edible Oils – Oil Palm (NMEO-OP), implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, offers enhanced financial assistance to oil palm farmers.

It covers various components like planting material, management, and machinery, and introduces a Viability Gap Payment (VGP) for price assurance. The scheme also integrates with PMKSY, MIDH, and PM-KUSUM for specific assistances and provides grants for custom hiring centres, with norms applicable from 2021-22 to 2025-26.
