The CGST Delhi South Commissionerate detected GST evasion of ₹16.30 crore by three firms and arrested a director.

The offence falls under Section 132(1)(d) of the CGST Act, 2017, for failing to deposit collected tax. Evasion exceeding ₹5 crore is a cognizable and non-bailable offence under Section 132(5) of the Act.
