Rs 37,000 Crore Released Under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme

The Ministry of Power announced that approximately Rs 37,000 Crore has been released under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) till November 28, 2025.

This scheme, with a total sanctioned GBS of Rs 1,21,637 Crore, aims to enhance power supply quality and reliability by making the distribution sector financially sustainable and operationally efficient, with fund releases tied to DISCOMs' performance.
