India–Brazil Joint Declaration for Deepening of MERCOSUR–India Trade Agreement

India and Brazil issued a joint declaration in New Delhi to deepen the existing Preferential Trade Agreement between India and MERCOSUR.

This move, discussed by Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, aims to boost trade and investment. It builds upon the foundational Framework Agreement signed in 2003, with Brazil committing to coordinate with MERCOSUR partners for its swift implementation.
