TRAI Assesses Network Quality Across Salem City and their adjoining areas in the State of Tamil Nadu (under Tamil Nadu Licensed Service Area)

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), under the Ministry of Communications, released findings from its Independent Drive Tests (IDT) conducted in Salem City, Tamil Nadu, in August 2025.

These tests assessed mobile network performance across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies, evaluating crucial voice and data service parameters like Call Setup Success Rate and Download Throughput. The IDT reinforces TRAI's mandate to monitor and ensure quality of telecom services.
