National Archives of India to Organise an Exhibition on ‘Development of Education in North Eastern India’ on 8th August 2025

The National Archives of India, in collaboration with Nagaland's Higher Education Department, will organize an exhibition in Kohima in August 2025 on the 'Development of Education in North Eastern India'.

This event highlights the archives' role as an attached office under the Ministry of Culture, established in 1891 as the Imperial Record Department, and its mandate as the nodal agency for the Public Records Act.
