PRADHAN MANTRI KISAN SAMPADA YOJANA & WEST BENGAL

The Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries provided an update in the Lok Sabha on the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY).

The scheme is a central sector, demand-driven initiative, with funds not allocated state-wise. As of June 2025, 42 projects in West Bengal have been operationalized, significantly increasing processing and preservation capacity.
