BSNL TN Circle & Chennai Telephones Launches ‘Freedom Plan’— a limited-period ₹1 offer to test BSNL’s 4G mobile services for one full month (Aug’25)

BSNL has launched the 'Freedom Plan' in August 2025, offering a one-month trial of its indigenously developed 4G services for ₹1.

This initiative, part of the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' mission, showcases India's capability in building its own telecom stack and aims to roll out 1,00,000 4G sites nationwide using Make-in-India technology to empower Digital India.
