AIIMS RAIPUR’S VRDL LABORATORY ACHIEVES NABL ACCREDITATION FOR THE FIRST TIME

AIIMS Raipur's State Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) achieved its first NABL accreditation on August 1, 2025, for the diagnosis of 12 major viral infections, including COVID-19 and High-Risk HPV.

Established in 2018, the VRDL also functions as the State Nodal Centre for COVID-19 testing and whole genome sequencing, with its accreditation conforming to ISO 15189:2022 standards.
