SCHEMES RELATED TO STRENGTHENING OF EV ECOSYSTEM

The Ministry of Heavy Industries provided updates on schemes bolstering India's electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.

It detailed achievements under the FAME-II scheme (concluded FY24, with data to June 2025) and highlighted the newly notified PM E-DRIVE Scheme (Sept 2024, Rs. 10,900 crore outlay, with data to July 2025). The ministry also noted the performance of the PLI Auto scheme, reported as of March 2025.
