CAMPAIGN FOR ENSURING QUALITY OF FERTILIZERS

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has launched a campaign for quality fertilizers, empowering State Governments under the Fertilizers Control Order (FCO), 1985.

This order prohibits non-standard fertilizers, with States conducting inspections and taking legal action. Recent enforcement from April-July 2025 shows significant action against defaulters, including license suspensions and FIRs.
