Cabinet Approves Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Yojna to Enhance Job Creation, Employability and Social Security in all Sectors

The Union Cabinet approved the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Yojna (PMVBY) on July 1, 2025.

This Central Sector scheme, managed by the Ministry of Labour & Employment with an outlay of ₹99,446 crore, aims to create over 3.5 crore jobs between August 2025 and July 2027, focusing on manufacturing. It offers incentives to both first-time employees and employers, with specific criteria for eligibility and disbursement.
