MODERNIZATION OF CAPF

The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched Modernization Plan-IV for CAPFs with a substantial outlay to enhance their capabilities through advanced equipment.

Concurrently, the government is strengthening the criminal justice system via the Inter-operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS), integrating various digital platforms like CCTNS, e-Courts, and e-Prisons, with significant implementation progress reported as of June 2025.
