Govt notifies Rules under Inter-Services Organisations (Command, Control & Discipline) Act 2023 enabling greater jointness and Command efficiency in Armed Forces

The Ministry of Defence has notified Rules under the Inter-Services Organisations (Command, Control & Discipline) Act 2023, set to be effective from May 27, 2025.

This initiative aims to enhance jointness, command, and control within Inter-Services Organisations by empowering their commanders with comprehensive disciplinary and administrative authority, without altering individual service conditions.
