Application invited for Setting up of multi-product Food Irradiation units
The Ministry of Food Processing Industries is inviting proposals for multi-product Food Irradiation units, as part of the 'Scheme for Cold Chain and Value Addition Infrastructure'.
This scheme operates under the umbrella of 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY)' to boost food processing value addition and cold chain infrastructure. Guidelines for these units were issued in August 2024, with applications opening in May 2025.
