Kalyani Ghoshpara, Panagarh and Joychandi Pahar stations in West Bengal virtually Inaugurated by Prime Minister as Amrit Bharat Stations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated 103 Amrit Stations across 18 States and UTs, including three in West Bengal, developed at a cost of over Rs 1,100 crore.

These redeveloped stations fall under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, which aims to modernize over 1,300 stations with enhanced passenger amenities, regional architecture, and sustainable practices.
