Mizoram Achieves Full Functional Literacy

Mizoram has been declared India's first fully literate state on May 20, 2025, an achievement attributed to the ULLAS – Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram.

The state's literacy rate now stands at 98.20%, building upon its 2011 Census figure of 91.33%.
