Swavalambini Women Entrepreneurship Programme

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) launched the Swavalambini Women Entrepreneurship Programme in February 2025, with NITI Aayog as a knowledge partner.

This pilot project targets 1200 female students in five states, offering multi-stage training and mentorship to foster enterprise creation. It aims to equip young women with entrepreneurial skills and support, including through NIESBUD and IIE.
