Quantum Diamond Microscopy unveiled at ESTIC can help neuroscience & materials research

India's first indigenous Quantum Diamond Microscope (QDM) has been developed by IIT Bombay under the National Quantum Mission.

Unveiled at ESTIC 2025, this breakthrough in quantum sensing uses nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond for 3D magnetic field imaging. It holds significant potential for neuroscience, materials research, and non-destructive evaluation of advanced semiconductor chips.
