Development of Fisheries Infrastructure under PMMSY
The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying has approved fisheries development proposals worth Rs.
21,274.16 crore under PMMSY over the last five years, with a central share of Rs. 9,189.79 crore. This includes the approval of 11 Integrated Aqua-parks at a cost of Rs 682.60 crore, aiming to boost the aquaculture value chain and reduce post-harvest losses.
