Employment to Tribals

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs supports tribal employment through schemes like PMJVM and PM JANMAN, focusing on Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs) which are clusters of tribal Self-Help Groups.

TRIFED facilitates marketing of tribal produce, and NSTFDC, a CPSE under the Ministry, offers concessional loans for self-employment. PMJVM also provides funds for Minor Forest Produce procurement at MSP.
