23 Chip-Design Projects Sanctioned for Financial Support under Design Linked Incentive(DLI) Scheme to support domestic companies, startups, and MSMEs in semiconductor design

The Government has sanctioned 23 chip-design projects under the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme, which is part of the broader ₹76,000 crore Semicon India Programme.

Launched in December 2021 with an outlay of ₹1,000 crore, the DLI Scheme supports domestic companies, startups, and MSMEs in semiconductor design to overcome high entry barriers and long development timelines.
