TRAI has released a consultation paper concerning the assignment of various microwave spectrum bands, including E-Band and V-Band.

This initiative follows a request from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and aligns with the recently enacted Telecommunication Act, 2023, which specifies an administrative method for assigning radio backhaul spectrum. The paper seeks comments from stakeholders on these critical spectrum policy matters.
