Public Private Partnerships for Skill Development in Rural Areas

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is leveraging public-private partnerships under the Skill India Mission to enhance rural skill development.

Through schemes like PMKVY 4.0, which has MoUs active until June 2025, and collaborations with major tech companies under CSR, over 25 lakh youth have benefited. The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) acts as the national regulator, recognizing private Awarding Bodies and Assessment Agencies to ensure quality and standards.
