The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) ensures the credibility and acceptance of skill certifications under the Skill India Mission.

Key schemes like PMKVY, JSS, NAPS, and CTS offer training, with a special focus on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to formalize informally acquired skills. Certifications are digital, NSQF-aligned, and verifiable through the Skill India Digital platform.
