Indigenously-Built 1 MW Green Hydrogen Plant Commissioned at Kandla Port by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal
The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways commissioned India's first 1 MW Green Hydrogen Plant at Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla.
This plant, part of a larger 10 MW project, contributes to the National Green Hydrogen Mission by producing 140 metric tonnes of green hydrogen annually for maritime decarbonisation. It highlights India's self-reliance in green energy technology, with DPA also known for deploying India's first Make-in-India all-electric Green Tug.
