PARLIAMENT QUESTION: NATIONAL QUANTUM MISSION
The National Quantum Mission (NQM), managed by the Ministry of Science & Technology, is a government initiative with an outlay of ₹6003.65 crore over eight years.
Its core objectives are to advance quantum computing, communication, sensing, and materials, fostering India's technological self-reliance. The mission establishes four fully functional Thematic Hubs (T-Hubs) as Section-8 companies to drive R&D, human resource development, and industry collaboration in quantum technologies.
