Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme

The Union Cabinet has approved the Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme with a significant outlay of ₹1 lakh crore over six years.

This scheme, overseen by the Ministry of Science & Technology, aims to bolster strategic technology sectors through long-term loans and equity financing. It targets projects at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 and above, with funding primarily channeled via the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).
