Schemes for Upliftment of Scheduled Castes

The Ministry of Culture implements the Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana (KSVY), a Central Sector Scheme focused on promoting art and culture.

KSVY provides financial assistance to cultural organizations and individual artists, including those from Scheduled Castes, for various performing arts activities and also supports the traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara. Funds are centrally managed with no state-wise allocation, and their utilization is rigorously monitored as per government financial rules.
