Government approves procurement of summer Moong under PSS for summer crop season 2025–26 in Haryana, UP, Gujarat and Groundnut in UP

The Ministry of Agriculture has approved significant procurements of summer Moong and Groundnut under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) for the 2025-26 season in several states, alongside extending existing procurement in Andhra Pradesh.

This builds upon the broader policy of procuring Tur, Urad, and Masur up to 100% of state production, an initiative now extended until 2028-29, managed by NAFED and NCCF, under the umbrella of PM-AASHA.
