Ministry of Labour & Employment Joins Hands with Zomato to Boost Employment Opportunities & Strengthen Gig Economy

The Ministry of Labour & Employment signed an MoU with Zomato to integrate gig economy roles into the formal employment system.

This collaboration aims to leverage the National Career Service (NCS) platform to provide technology-enabled livelihood opportunities. It aligns with the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana and the government's vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, focusing on formalization and social security for workers.
