UNION MINISTER OF STATE FOR FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & DAIRYING, SHRI GEORGE KURIAN VISITS AIZAWL

The Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Shri George Kurian, visited Aizawl, Mizoram, to assess the fisheries sector and discuss challenges.

He highlighted the Equity Grant under Fish Farmers Producer Organisation (FFPO) and the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY), a key scheme for 'Blue Revolution'. The visit underscored the government's focus on sustainable fisheries development and supporting Northeastern states.
