District Collectors’ Peyjal Samvad under JJM: Dialogue to Strengthen Local Governance and Sustainability Mechanisms

The Ministry of Jal Shakti recently organized the first 'District Collectors' Peyjal Samvad' under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).

This national dialogue aims to strengthen district-led governance, promote innovation, and ensure long-term sustainability of the mission, which has already provided tap water to over 81% of rural households. Various digital tools and platforms like JJM-IMIS, eGram Swaraj, and Sarpanch Samvad are being used to enhance transparency and community engagement.
