Department of Telecommunications, Haryana LSA, Hosts Stakeholder Workshop and Public Awareness Programme on Secure Telecom Practices and Cyber Fraud Prevention in Sirsa, Haryana

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) organized a workshop in Sirsa, Haryana, to promote secure telecom practices and prevent cyber fraud.

The event highlighted national initiatives like the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) and the Sanchar Saathi portal, along with collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs on Financial Risk Indicators. Citizens were informed about reporting channels like the 1930 helpline and www.cybercrime.gov.in, and various features of the Sanchar Saathi platform, including Chakshu, KYM, and RICWIN.
