ECI to begin Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls in Bihar

The Election Commission of India has launched a Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls in Bihar, aiming to ensure accurate and error-free voter lists.

This process involves house-to-house surveys by Booth Level Officers and adherence to Constitutional provisions like Article 326 and Sections 16, 23, and 24 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950. A new transparency measure requires uploading supporting documents for ERO decisions to ECINET.
