BIS Organizes “Manak Manthan” in Bengaluru to Facilitate Updates to National Lighting Code

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) held 'Manak Manthan' in Bengaluru to discuss the revision of the National Lighting Code of India.

The updated SP 72:2025, replacing SP 72:2010, will incorporate advancements in technology and focus on energy efficiency and human-centric design. It will include new guidelines for diverse sectors and emerging lighting solutions like horticultural and UV germicidal lighting.
