Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah chairs the second meeting of Parliamentary Consultative Committee of Ministry of Cooperation in New Delhi

The Ministry of Cooperation's Consultative Committee discussed key initiatives to strengthen the cooperative sector, including the ambitious target of establishing 2 lakh new multipurpose cooperative societies within five years.

Significant progress was reported in forming MPACS, dairy, and fisheries cooperatives. The meeting also highlighted the roles of three new national-level cooperative societies: NCOL for organic products, NCEL for exports, and BBSSL for traditional seeds.
