GEN UPENDRA DWIVEDI, CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF INAUGURATES ‘AGNISHODH’ RESEARCH CELL AT IIT MADRAS TO BOOST SELF-RELIANCE IN DEFENCE TECHNOLOGY
The Indian Army established 'Agnishodh', a research cell at IIT Madras, inaugurated by COAS General Upendra Dwivedi, to boost self-reliance in defence technology.
This initiative aligns with the 'Modernisation and Technology Infusion' pillar and aims to integrate academic research with operational applications. The COAS also highlighted 'Operation Sindoor', an 88-hour intelligence-driven counter-terrorism operation executed across the DIME spectrum.
