DELAY IN NOTIFYING THE JURISDICTION OF KRMB AND GRMB

The Ministry of Jal Shakti updated Lok Sabha regarding the Krishna and Godavari River Management Boards (KRMB & GRMB), constituted under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014.

While their jurisdictions were notified in July 2021, issues related to project handover are ongoing. These boards and the Apex Council manage inter-state river projects.
