Cabinet approves Central Sector Scheme “Grant in aid to National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC)” with an outlay of Rs.2000 crore

The Union Cabinet has approved a new Central Sector Scheme, 'Grant in aid to NCDC', with a Rs.

2000 crore outlay over four years from FY 2025-26. This scheme enables NCDC to provide loans to various cooperative sectors for development and working capital, aiming to benefit nearly 2.9 crore members while also leveraging Rs. 20,000 crore from the open market.
