IMPLEMENTATION OF FIFTH SCHEDULE IN KARAULI AND DHAULPUR DISTRICTS

A Lok Sabha reply from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs clarified the constitutional provisions for the Fifth Schedule under Article 244(1).

It detailed that 'Scheduled Areas' are declared by the President after consultation with the State Governor, while confirming no current proposal for including Karauli and Dhaulpur districts.
