PROGRESS UNDER PM-AJAY

The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment released a progress report on PM-AJAY, a 100% Centrally Sponsored Scheme launched in 2021-22.

The scheme merged three previous initiatives to focus on socio-economic betterment of SC communities. It has three components: developing Adarsh Gram (model villages), providing Grants-in-Aid for skill development, and establishing hostels for SC students.
