Regularisation of Unauthorised Colonies in Delhi on ‘As-is Where-is’ Basis

The Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs announced the regularisation of unauthorised colonies in Delhi on an 'as-is where-is' basis under the PM-UDAY scheme.

This decision, launched in 2019, aims to confer ownership rights to approximately 45 lakh residents in 1511 out of 1731 unauthorised colonies, enabling legal ownership and regulated development. The application process will begin on April 24.
