Promoting the Alternative Income Sources for Farmers

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare details its integrated strategy to boost farmer incomes and agricultural growth.

This includes a significant increase in budget allocation for DA&FW by 2025-26, the mechanism for Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) for 22 mandated crops (Kharif, Rabi, commercial), and Fair & Remunerative Price (FRP) for sugarcane, all based on CACP recommendations and specific policy criteria.
