Allocation of Funds by RRRLF

The Ministry of Culture, through its autonomous body RRRLF in Kolkata, provides financial assistance for public library development under its Matching and Non-matching Schemes.

These schemes aim to enhance library resources, infrastructure, and services, including facilities for children and Divyangjan readers, in coordination with State/UT Library Authorities. The National Mission on Libraries (NML) Scheme is also mentioned in this context.
