Cabinet approves the Nutrient Based Subsidy rates for Rabi 2025- 26 on Phosphatic and Potassic fertilizers

The Union Cabinet has approved the Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) rates for Phosphatic and Potassic (P&K) fertilizers for the Rabi Season 2025-26.

This scheme, operational since 2010 under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, has an estimated budgetary requirement of Rs. 37,952.29 crore for the upcoming Rabi season, covering 28 grades of fertilizers.
