ELECTRONIC MOBILITY PROMOTION SCHEME 2024

The Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) 2024, introduced by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, runs for six months from April 1 to September 30, 2024.

It aims to accelerate the adoption of domestically manufactured electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers. The scheme also mandates compliance with the Phased Manufacturing Programme to boost local EV component production.
