G20 Disaster Risk Reduction Working Group adopts the Ministerial Declaration at Cape Town, with support of the Indian delegation led by Dr P.K Mishra

The G20 Disaster Risk Reduction Ministerial Meeting in Cape Town, under South Africa's Presidency, adopted the "Resilience for All" Declaration.

India, represented by Dr. P.K. Mishra, highlighted its pioneering role in establishing the G20 DRR Working Group and its leadership in the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), assisting 50 countries. India's integrated approach to DRR, focusing on early warning, anticipatory financing, and local investment, is embedded in its national planning.
